Heritas Capital joins MFine’s $48m Series C round to build India’s largest virtual hospital after leading Pre-Series C round early 2021

Heritas Capital is pleased to participate in MFine’s successful closing of its US$48m Series C financing round led by Moore Strategic Ventures and BEENEXT alongside other investors including Stellaris Venture Partners, SBI Group Japan, SBI Ven Capital Singapore, Prime Venture Partners, Y’S Investment Pte Ltd. and Alteria Capital.

Heritas first led the pre-Series C round in January 2021 given the company’s strong commercial traction and impact by enhancing access to healthcare in times of the pandemic. In June this year as India was facing the third COVID wave, Heritas Cares, together with like-minded fellow investors and donors including staff from Heritas Capital and Tsao Family Office, initiated a donation drive to support MFine’s ground initiatives to help those in need.

“Congratulations to Prasad, Ashutosh and entire MFine team for the successful Series C close to drive its expansion into other Indian cities, further reaching and benefitting the larger Indian population. Heritas was privileged to have led the pre-Series C round early this year and to now participate again in the current round to continue our support on building India’s largest virtual hospital,” said Chik Wai Chiew, Executive Director and CEO of Heritas Capital.
