Michael has more than 25 years experience in accounting, finance and investments. He commenced his career in academia and subsequently worked for the Singapore Government and multi-national companies before joining the TCC Group. He has also been an Independent Director and Audit Committee Chairman of public listed companies in Singapore. Prior to joining IMC, Michael was the Chief Financial Officer of International Beverages, which is the international arm of SGX-listed Thai Beverages.
Michael graduated with a Bachelor of Business Studies (with First Class Honours) and a Masters (with Distinction) from Massey University, New Zealand. He majored in Accounting & Finance.
Michael is also a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore, a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors and an Associate of the Singapore Association of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.
Chik Wai Chiew

Wai Chiew has over 20 years of experience in global investment management and strategic business development, having been active in leading various companies on transformational growth strategies, fund raising and M&A. In his previous roles at Temasek and other funds, he has led and managed investments across multiple industries and geographies. Given his passion in building disruptive new ventures, he thoroughly enjoyed commercializing biomedical and engineering deep tech ventures from Singapore's public research institutes while at A*Star, and also co-founded an advanced technology accelerator supported by the Singapore government.
Since joining Heritas Capital, Wai Chiew has expanded its private equity investment portfolio and initiated venture capital and fund-of-funds investments into healthcare, education and technology sectors globally. In line with Heritas’ “do well, do good” investment philosophy, he has overseen the integration of Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) considerations into its investment processes. Wai Chiew also actively serves as a director on multiple boards and as an advisor on various investment advisory committees to advocate sustainable growth and sound governance.
Wai Chiew was awarded the Glaxo-EDB scholarship and holds a BA in Economics from Cambridge University, UK; MA from Yale University, USA; and completed his EMBA (conducted in Mandarin) from Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business, China. He has also served as Honorary Treasurer with the Singapore Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (SVCA), and currently serves as a member of its ESG committee.
Loh Niap Juan
Niap brings with him more than 20 years of experience as a finance professional and more than 10 years as a C-suite executive in GLCs, privately-owned enterprises and multinational companies. In the course of his career, he has helmed teams in various functions including Finance, Human Resources, Corporate Communications, Legal, Operations, Information Technology, Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Development and Strategy.
Niap graduated with a First Class honours degree in Accountancy from the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and trained in the London office of Deloitte and Touche. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW).
Dr. Mary Ann Tsao

Mary Ann Tsao is the Chairman and Founding Director of the Tsao Foundation, a Singapore-based - but regionally oriented - non-profit operational foundation dedicated to aged care and ageing issues. Previously, she was also its CEO and President.
Tsao Foundation aims to address issues of population ageing, promote successful ageing and enhance wellbeing of older people at policy and practice levels by catalyzing constructive change.
Dr. Tsao has served on numerous boards and committees of government and non-profit organizations in Singapore as well as internationally. She currently chairs the advisory board of Duke-NUS’ CARE (Centre for Ageing Research and Education). For her work on ageing, she received the Public Service Medal (PBM) in 2000, Public Service Star (BBM) in 2004, and Public Service Star (Bar) in 2015 from the government of Singapore.
Dr. Tsao has also worked with numerous multilateral agencies, such as WHO Geneva office’s Ageing and Life Course unit, and has been a resource person and technical advisor to other UN agencies, such as UNESCAP (United Nations Economic and Social Commission for the Asia Pacific) and the ASEAN Secretariat.
A member of a business family, Dr. Tsao is also involved with FBNA (Family Business Netowrk Asia) as a Board Director as well as various family business and non-profit projects.
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Dr. Tsao is a US trained physician with a public health background, specializing in community and primary care planning and social medicine. She has extensive experience working with disadvantaged communities in the US and Singapore.

Bryan has over 25 years of investment experience managing global multi asset portfolios. He has varied experience from managing Asian and European equities at Arab Bank to managing hedge fund portfolios at Oaks Family Office. He also has business experience co-founding First Avenue Partners, an alternative investment advisory business in London, and later heading alternative investments at DBS Private Bank. Bryan was CIO of Bordier Singapore before joining Tsao Family Office Pte. Ltd., family office of the Tsao Group, as CEO/CIO.

Bruno Lorenzon is currently Head, Group Corporate Finance for the IMC Group and has more than 15 years’ experience in investments, strategy and corporate finance in the Natural Resources sector both in Australia and overseas. He has worked for the IMC Group for the past nine years and previously worked for Vale in Brazil and Rio Tinto in Australia in roles encompassing strategic planning, M&A and business development. Mr Lorenzon has a Bachelor of Civil Engineering, MBA and is a CFA chartholder. Mr Lorenzon is an alternate director representing the IMC Group on the Boards of Millennium Minerals Ltd (ASX:MOY) and Horizon Oil Limited (ASX:HZN).

Charis has 15 years of experience in investment management and corporate finance across investment institutions, family offices and corporates. Her past experiences include M&A, JV partnerships, and investment execution and deal management across healthcare, education, technology, financial institutions group, and oil and gas industries in Fortune 500 and various private equity firms across Asia.
Charis currently sits on the board of Timberland Medical Centre, a leading private hospital in East Malaysia. She also serves as an executive committee member of Timberland Medical Centre and is responsible for various oversight of operational and strategic initiatives.
Charis graduated with a double degree (BBM in Finance and BSc in Economics) with High Distinction (Magna Cum Laude) from the Singapore Management University. She has also completed an executive program at Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management in Beijing, China.

Janet has over 15 years of experience in early-stage and private equity investments, debt restructuring and business development across investment institutions, family offices, MNCs and start-ups. Having co-founded an education technology start-up and been the pioneering member of a health technology start-up, Janet is passionate in the creation of new solutions and businesses that deliver positive and tangible impact to the people it serves.
Prior to joining Heritas, she was previously with Affinity Equity Partners executing on public-to-private, leverage buy-out and growth capital transactions exceeding US$3 billion in Asia, and EDB Ventures investing and managing early-stage opportunities across education, technology and fast-moving consumer goods sectors.
Janet graduated with an MSc in Applied Finance from Singapore Management University and BBA (Hons) from the National University of Singapore.
Leong Sin Hong

Sin Hong has more than 15 years of experience in governance, risk, compliance, corporate finance and investment management. Prior to joining Heritas, he was Associate Director at IMC Pan Asia Alliance Group and was responsible for the development of policies and procedures, as well as corporate governance activities of the group. He also served as Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions at Sembcorp Industries Limited and Assistant Vice President of Finance at Sembcorp Environmental Management Pte Ltd.
Sin Hong graduated with a Master of Business Administration (with Distinction) from Cornell University. He also holds an Advanced Certificate (with Distinction) in Governance, Risk and Compliance from the International Compliance Association.
